Karachi, Jan. 22 (TNS): The father of slain Naqeebullah Mehsud on Monday demanded justice for the alleged extrajudicial murder of his son.
“I want justice for my son,” Khan Mohammad said after arriving in Karachi.
He also thanked to civil society and others for backing justice campaign for his son.
A jirga (tribal assembly of elders) of the Mehsud tribe have also camped in the Karachi’ Sohrab Goth vicinity to discuss the matter.
Earlier in the day, Suspended Malir SSP Rao Anwar announced on Monday that he will not appear before the investigative committee probing the Naqeebullah fake encounter case.
SSP Anwar is facing an inquiry into the extrajudicial murder of Waziristan native Naqeebullah Mehsud.
