KARACHI Jan 23(TNS): As many as five people were killed and 15 other sustained injuries when a bus collided with a truck near Northern Bypass in Karachi during wee hours on Tuesday morning.
The ill-fated bus was going to Larkana from Karachi. Police sources said that the bus skidded off the road after that accident.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Rescue sources informed media that most of the injured are in stable condition.
Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal arrived at the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital to inquire about the health of the injured passengers.
