Release of political Kashmiri prisoners demanded

Srinagar June 23 (TNS): Chairman Salvation Movement Zaffar Akber Bhatt has demanded the urgent release of Kashmiri political prisoners who are languished in various jails in and outside the state. He said this while presiding over a meeting at his residence on Friday.

Prisoners are facing different ailments and families are unable to contact them due to hot weather and financial crisis. Parents are waiting for years to meet their dear ones. So prisoners should be released ahead of Eid, so they can celebrate the joy of Eid with their relatives and family, said Zaffar.

Meanwhile secretary of the women wing and an activist Rakaya Bhaji demonstrated a protest against continues detention of the Kashmiris. She also demanded the freedom of the all the prisoners who are imprisoned in Indian jails on humanitarian ground.

Zaffar paying tribute to the recent martyrs Majid Mir,Shakir Ahmed,Sheeraz Ahmed,Tawseef Ahmed, Gulzar Ahmed, Basit Ahmed of Kaka pora, pulwama, Indhergam, pattan, Brath Sopore said that we will continueour efforts for the permanent settlement of Kashmir dispute and will not allow any body playing with our sacrifices for their vested interest.

On the accasion of Jummat ul Vidha prayers, the Spokesman also condemned the continue house arrest of its chairman zaffar Akber and other Hurriat leaders.

According to the program JKSM leaders hold protest demonstration in Kulgam, Pattan, Chadoora against the innocent killings and growing human rights violations.
