Rawalpindi, Jan. 28 (TNS): Three Pakistani civilians were injured as Indian troops resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations in Khuiratta, Kotli and Battal, Rawalakot sectors targeting civil population.
According to ISPR, three citizens including two women got injured due to Indian firing.
Pakistan army troops effectively responded to Indian posts from where firing was initiated, the army spokesman added.
Indian forces carried out more than 170 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary in January this year alone, resulting in the martyrdom of nine innocent civilians, while injuring 40 others.
In 2017, Indian forces committed more than 1900 ceasefire violations.
