AIOU to hold two Int’l conferences this month

ISLAMABAD Feb 02 (TNS): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) sets to hold two Int’l conferences this month to project new trends and practices in the educational field.

This is the part of the University’s concerted efforts to get acquainted its students and the Faculty’s members with the new academic developments taking place in various disciplines. They will be able to interact with foreign academicians to learn from their knowledge and experience in the relevant fields.

The University has organized as many as twenty-eight national and international conferences and seminars during the last three years. Beside this, seventeen research journals were published in difference disciplines on the initiative of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui.

First International Conference on Nano – Material, Modeling and Simulation will be held February 12-14 and second such event will be on February 16 and 17 to deliberate upon research and practices in Education.

There are other number of academic, literary and social events, scheduled to take place during the year.  The main focus will be on the society’s related issues.
