LAHORE, Jan 03 (TNS): The former Prime Minister and head of PML-N Nawaz Sharif and chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif discussed country’s political situation and upcoming senate election, which will be held on March 03.
Deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived here in modal town to inquire health after him and prayed for his immediate recovery.
During the meet both leaders have discussed country’s political situation, upcoming senate election and general election which will be held in July this year.
The contempt of courts notices to ruling party leaders, instant completion of ongoing development projects across the country and mass contact campaign were also came under discussion. They agreed to direct party leaders to accelerate the people contact campaign.
After the meeting the former prime minister left for his residence Jati Umra.
