MUZAFFARABAD Feb 05 (TNS): Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has reached Muzaffarabad to address a public gathering to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day.
At present, Nawaz is holding a meeting with federal ministers, party leaders and Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister and cabinet members.
Nawaz’s daughter Maryam, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider and other leaders will also speak on the occasion.
Over 16,000 chairs have been set up by the organisers at the University College Ground. The venue and nearby areas have been decorated with welcoming banners for the PML-N leaders.
Millions of Pakistan across the globe mark the day to express their support to the Kashmiris in the struggle for their inalienable right to self-determination under the United Nations (UN) resolution.
