CM Punjab inaugurates mega healthcare facilities in Multan

Multan, Feb. 7 (TNS): The Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Shaif in his special visit to Multan inaugurated numerous state of the art heath facilities on Wednesday.

The first among them is the extension of 150 bedded Children Hospital with the cost of 1929 million rupees.

The Hospital is located in the heart of city, and is catering services for the whole Southern Punjab including North of Balochistan and Sindh Province.

Construction of the newly inaugurated expansion project has been completed in just one year, and a comprehensive approach to Preventive Pediatrics and Community Programs to combat malnutrition and unhygienic condition has been started by the hospital as well.

The other significant health facilities include Burn Unit at Nishtar Hospital, Multan (cost 878.68 million rupees), Multan Institute of Kidney Diseases (cost 1444.70 million rupees), Shehbaz Sharif District Headquarter Hospital, Multan (cost 411 million rupees) and Regional Blood Center, Multan (cost 323 million rupees).

It is important to mention that the development of South Punjab remains on top priority of CM Punjab’s development vision, as he on many occasions has stressed that the growth and progress of Southern Punjab will add huge value to the nation’s success.
