MIANWALI, Feb 11 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Saturday said that the motorway project passing through Mianwali was not just a mere project on paper instead it is the fruit that the people are now bearing for their decision in 2018 general elections.
“PML-N would once against win the general elections on the basis of the service it had done for the masses while being in power,” he said.
Earlier the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbassi inaugurated the gas supply project costing 2.30 billion rupees in Mianwali today (Saturday).The project will provide gas to the people of Tehsil Esa Khel and its adjoining areas. The project would benefit the population of around 180,000 people.
Addressing the public gathering, the prime minister said that when the PML-N came into power, there were no gas supply projects but now after being into power, the gas supply projects are being completed in order to provide Sui gas to the masses.
Abbasi said that today, the country is witnessing the projects of road infrastructure, electricity and gas and all of these projects are gift of Nawaz Sharif to the people of the country.“PML-N would continue its journey to lead country towards the path of progress through masses support,” he said.
The prime minister said that whatever chief minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has done for the people of Punjab is exemplary and all these projects are due to a correct decision taken in 2013 general elections.
“Now it is up to the people of Pakistan to compare Punjab with KPK and tell which is progressing more,” he said adding that Shahbaz Sharif had took Punjab towards the path of exemplary progress.
