UPS announces new worldwide express freight midday service

KARACHI Feb 13 (TNS): UPS (NYSE: UPS) has announced introduction of a new service – the UPS Worldwide Express Freight™ Midday – which is an extension of the current UPS Worldwide Express Freight service.

The service is available in 35 countries by 12 p.m. or 2 p.m. It picks up packages between12 p.m. and 2 p.m. from all 71 origin countries on its network and delivers to 35 key destination countries that represent over two-thirds of global GDP.

TCS, Pakistan’s leading logistics, courier and e-commerce company already has an agreement with UPS, the world’s largest express carrier and package delivery company for International Express Services in Pakistan and to customers in Pakistan for international pick-ups and deliveries worldwide.

The UPS Worldwide Express™ package portfolio provides guaranteed, time-definite delivery for urgent, international palletized shipments of over 150 lbs. Delivery is door-to-door within 1 to 3 days.  UPS Worldwide Express Freight services include many of the same features as UPS Worldwide Express package service, allowing customers to leverage UPS speed, reliability and visibility to reach global markets faster, usually before the end of day.

In 2018, UPS Worldwide Express Freight service has also expanded to Lebanon, Latvia, and Lithuania and added outbound service to Saudi Arabia.

The UPS® air network is one of the world’s largest with customs clearance capabilities that include over 80 years of experience and offices in more than 60 countries. This combination allows for UPS’s fastest palletized scheduled day-definite, door-to-door delivery in 71 origin and 67 destination countries and territories, including: One or two business days to the U.S. from Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas; One or two business days from Hong Kong to the U.S., Asia Pacific, Europe and Canada; and Two or three business days to Europe from Asia Pacific, the U.S. and the Americas.

UPS also announced expansion of the UPS Worldwide Express™ to more than 7,000 postal codes in 57 countries. UPS Worldwide Express service offers guaranteed midday delivery (by 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., or 2 p.m.depending on the destination) to 124 countries globally. It is a part of a portfolio of products that offer global express delivery in 1-3 days depending on the destination. UPS Express™ service offers guaranteed midday delivery, while Express Plus offers guaranteed morning delivery, and UPS Express Saver offers guaranteed end of day delivery, all with the same days in transit.
