ISLAMABAD Feb 13 (TNS): The National Accountability Bureau’s Assistant Director Investigation Muhammad Qasim Khan has allegedly been found involved in massive corruption.
One Abdul Waheed, the aggrieved party, lodged an application with the NAB on Tuesday against the said official, who is also investigation officer of Ministry of Commerce Employees Cooperative Housing Society reference, accusing him therein of making money dishonestly by illegally allotting Transfer and Bio Matric contract to his favorite company with alleged connivance of its owners.
The application further said, while blatantly misusing his authority he illegally allotted plot numbers to more than 43 files thus adding to its market cost in an unlawful way.

The applicant urged the NAB Chairman to take action against the land mafia and corrupt NAB officials like Muhammad Qasim Khan trying to bring bad name to the senior and high-ranking officials of the institution.

The applicant said the act of Assistant Director Investigation Muhammad Qasim Khan has discredited the image of NAB, therefore, it is essential to bring to accountability the said corrupt official of the NAB and not to allow him to dent the image of the institution, which the honorable NAB Chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal himself heads.
Meanwhile the sympathizers of Abdul Waheed, the aggrieved party, have vowed to stage protest rally/hunger strike outside the headquarters of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) until an action is taken against the land mafia, which in collaboration with some corrupt NAB officials like Muhammad Qasim Khan, is trying to damage the honorable institution’s image.
