Srinagar, February 13 (TNS): In occupied Kashmir, the Muslim leaders of Jammu have expressed concern over the plan of BJP and RSS to force the Muslims of Jammu to migrate from the region.

The Chairman of All Tribal Coordination Committee, Talib Hussain, while addressing a press conference in Srinagar said that the Hindu hooligans were harassing the Muslims of Jammu particularly in Samba and Kathua districts of the region. He pointed out that the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Aasifa, by SPO Deepak Khajuria in Kathua, last month, was a part of the conspiracy aimed at terrorizing Muslims. Talib Hussain maintained that the plan to expel the Muslims from Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu region had the full backing of government machinery. He pointed out that several Muslims were already evicted from the forest land in Jammu on government orders. Meanwhile, two youth were martyred and two Indian Central Reserve Police Force Personnel were killed in a two-day gunfight in Karan Nagar area of Srinagar, today. The firefight had erupted on Monday. The killings led to spontaneous shutdown in Qazigund area of South Kashmir. There were reports of clashes between protesters and Indian forces in Sopat and Vessu areas in Islamabad district.

The puppet authorities imposed strict restrictions in various areas of Srinagar to prevent youth from taking to the streets for protests. The authorities had also snapped mobile Internet service across the city. On the other hand, with the recovery of another Indian soldier’s body inside the Sunjuwan army camp in Jammu, the death toll rose to ten including six soldiers. A group of attackers entered the army camp on Saturday after hurling grenades and using automatic rifles. Another Indian army camp also came under attack in Domana area of Jammu, today. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement issued in Srinagar strongly condemned the killing of Tehreek-e-Wahadat-e-Islami leader, Yousuf Nadeem Rather, who was shot dead by unknown attackers at Charangam in Badgam on Monday.
