ISLAMABAD Feb 14 (TNS): As many as 67 officials of Islamabad Police were promoted after the departmental promotion committee and the inspector general’s approval on Wednesday.
The officers promoted to next grade included 12 sub-inspectors, 18 assistant sub-Inspectors and 37 head constables.

Islamabad’s Inspector General Police (IGP) Sultan Azam Temuri and other officers pinned the badges to these police officials at a ceremony at Police Lines Headquarters.
Speaking on the occasion Temuri congratulated all the promoted staff and told them to work harder. “With promotion, your responsibilities have also increased and you will have to put in efforts with more dedication,” he said.
