Islamabad, Feb. 14 (TNS): A large number of sacked employees of Habib Bank Limited have staged protest against forced removal.
The sacked employees held a demonstration on Wednesday outside Supreme Court building in protest against the management’s decision.
The management of the bank issued termination letters to 180 low-grade employees on December 22, 2017 without any prior notice or reason for the termination.
The protester said that at the time of the recruitment, management had promised to ensure protection of jobs but sacked them without any reason.
They adding that the protest would continue till the management reversed its decision.
The protesters demand that bank’s management should hold an independent inquiry and resolve the crisis.
