KHANPUR, Feb 18 (TNS): A girl was shot dead in Khanpur Mahar reportedly on the pretext of refusing a marriage proposal.
According to the details, a suspect Ali Nawaz Mahar along with his accomplices stormed at the girl’s house and attempted to kidnaper her.
The suspect gunned down the girl over resistance. The bereaved family said the police had refused their plea to register an FIR against the suspect because he belonged to an influential family.
