Islamabad, Feb. 19 (TNS): State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the country would soon see the restoration of international cricket and Pakistan Super League (PSL) would improve the image of the country.
Marriyum, while inaugurating a cricket tournament here on Monday, said that all segments of society should contribute in the government policies to show real face of Pakistan to the world.
She said that it is for the first time in history of Pakistan that democratic governments have completed ten years.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Senate election is taking place timely and 2018 general elections will also be held on time as it is the responsibility of the government.
She said that those who are speculating about the delay in general elections have been disappointed by timely holding of Senate elections.
While congratulating political rival Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on his third marriage, Marriyum said, “I hope this marriage brings peace in his life since he needs it the most.”
