Chief Minister Punjab has been continuously allocating development funds to ensure development in socio-economic sector in the Punjab province. Especially, his investment on bridges has facilitated the people a lot.

Construction of high level bridges such as between Bangle Iccha and Rojhan on River Indus at a cost of Rs.4.20 billion for the benefit of people of South Punjab constitutes a shining example of his performance. Construction of Road Bridge over the Jhelum River in Malakwal, a small town of Mandi Bahauddin District was also one of his dreams. It reduced travel distance between Pind Dadin Khan and Malakwal. This mega project is also accompanied with 94.30 km long dual carriageway from Gujrat to Salam interchange via Mandi Bahauddin.

The Punjab government has also laid a network of U-turn overhead bridges on a short stretch of Ferozepur Road from Qainchi to Chungi Amar Sidhu. A Shanghai-style overhead bridge was also built exclusively to facilitate motorcyclists. Such overhead bridges are facilitating both motorists and bikers, avoiding gridlocks, decreasing travel time and cutting down fuel consumption.

LAHORE Feb 20 (TNS): Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been continuously allocating development funds to ensure development in socio-economic sector in the Punjab province. Especially, his investment on bridges has facilitated the people a lot.
The transparent development strategy of the provincial government paved the way for the rapid socio-economic development in the South Punjab due to which the common man has especially benefited.
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif envisaged a construction of high level bridge between Bangle Iccha and Rojhan on River Indus at a cost of Rs.4.20 billion for the benefit of people of South Punjab due to which the distance between Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur has been reduced to only 65 kilometers. This is a brilliant example of his visionary insight.

Similarly in Malakwal, a small town of Mandi Bahauddin District, he launched the construction of Road Bridge over the Jhelum River, which was an old demand of the public there, and its fulfillment would save time and reduce distance to travel between Pind Dadin Khan and Malakwal. This mega project is also accompanied with 94.30 km long dual carriageway from Gujrat to Salam interchange via Mandi Bahauddin. All of the residents of these areas unanimously say that he should be the next Prime Minister of Pakistan. They say the bridge was their old demand and its fulfillment has saved time and reduced distance to travel from Pind Dadin Khan to Malakwal and vice versa.

Shahbaz Sharif’s art of delivering on promises is unique. The whole narrative of Shahbaz Sharif’s politics revolves around preparing projects that are purely based on public welfare.

There should be no doubt in every person’s mind that 2018 is the year of general elections, and therefore, political leaders from different political parties have started visiting various areas to gain public favor as part of their political campaigns. However, a man who goes by the name of Shehbaz Sharif stands out among all of them. Why?

The answer is simple. Shehbaz Sharif is a man who believes in delivering to the masses, and this is a major reason that his actions speak louder than his words.

The whole narrative of Shahbaz Sharif’s politics revolve around preparing projects that are purely based on public welfare, and this is a major reason that under his splendid leadership, Punjab over the decades has made exceptional progress in the public sector.

Everyone feels that he has risen to prominence because of his hard work and performance. Great governance comes through personified qualities of morality, transparency, effectiveness and comprehensiveness, and this is where Shehbaz Sharif has truly made his mark.

The Punjab government has laid a network of U-turn overhead bridges on a short stretch of Ferozepur Road from Qainchi to Chungi Amar Sidhu. A Shanghai-style overhead bridge was also built exclusively to facilitate motorcyclists.

Such overhead bridges are facilitating both motorists and bikers, avoiding gridlocks, decreasing travel time and cutting down fuel consumption.

According to a data obtained from the traffic police department, more than 350,000 vehicles use the double U-turns (overhead bridges) per day on Ghazi Road, Lahore General Hospital and Chungi Amar Sidhu.

Not to talk of Pakistanis, even the governments of Turkey and China have praised the good governance of Shehbaz Sharif.
