Islamabad, Feb 22 (TNS): Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is likely to head the party after the disqualification of former PM Nawaz Sharif as President PML-N by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Party sources said that Begum Kulsoom, wife of former premier Nawaz Sharif could be appointed as President of ruling PML-N. Begum Kulsoon Nawaz is under treatment in London and she could return to Pakistan soon to head the party. It is keen desire of Nawaz Sharif that his family member become the President of party therefore he will not nominate his brother and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif as party head. Differences could develop between Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif over the chairmanship of party and PML-N can be divided into two factions ,sources claim. Party sources added that Shahbaz Sharif faction would consist of Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and others while Talal Chaudhry and Daniyal Aziz would include in the faction or group of Nawaz Sharif.
