Islamabad, Feb. 22 (TNS): Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Thursday inaugurated Ridding club and State of Art Gym at Diplomatic Enclave.
On the occasion Jamil Hashmi SSP security Islamabad received shield from Prof Ahsan Iqbal for excellent performance of duties.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Sultan Azam Temuri and DIG Waqar Ahmar Chauhan were also present on the occasion
Ridding club and State of Art Gym has been established by the security division Islamabad.
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal, on occasion, said that Pakistan has registered unmatched successes in the war on terror despite limited resources.
He said the back of terrorists has been broken.
The Minister said the international community despite spending trillions of dollars in Afghanistan could not achieve the sort of success secured by Pakistan.
He said Pakistan’s security forces have rendered huge sacrifices in the war against terrorism. He said police played the role of frontline in this war and efforts are afoot to further improve its performance.
