Islamabad, Feb. 27 (TNS): Kashmala Tariq on Tuesday sworn in as the federal ombudsperson on harassment of women at workplace.
President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to Tariq at a ceremony held in Islamabad, said an official notification.
The communique further said Tariq has been appointed as ombudsperson for a period of four years. Mamnoon congratulated her and hoped she would efficiently fulfill the assigned responsibilities.
Senior state officials and prominent people from different walks of life attended the ceremony.
