Rawalpindi, March 1 (TNS): Ambassador of China Yao Jing on Thursday met Chairman JCS Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, at Joint Staff Headquarters, here on Thursday, military media wing said in a statement.
According to ISPR statement, during the meeting, matters related to changing the geostrategic environment and further strengthening of security and defence cooperation were discussed.
“Both sides reaffirmed the resolve for the furtherance of deeper strategic ties” the statement the read which added “The Ambassador applauded the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged sacrifices made by Pakistan in war against terrorism”.
