Karachi March 2 (TNS): Army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa hailed the Sindh Rangers in maintaining the law and order situation in Karachi.
During a visit to Corps headquarters and Malir Garrison, he said that peace in the metropolitan city was vital to the security and stability of Pakistan He said that efforts will continue to be made to further improve the law and order situation in the province.
At Corps headquarters, the army chief was briefed on the security situation in the province, especially in Karachi. The army chief was also updated about the operational preparedness of the Karachi Corps.
While addressing officers at Malir Garrison, Gen Bajwa praised the officers for the professional excellence towards defence and security of the country.
