Faisalabad March 2 (TNS): Nurses at Civil Hospital beat an office boy after he allegedly sexually assaulted a nurse in the wee hours of Friday.
The nurse, N, was on duty when the office boy, X, attempted to sexually assault her. The nurse resisted the ward boy and alerted her fellow nurses. A large number of nurses captured the office boy and gave him a good drubbing before he was rescued by the hospital management and the ward boy’s co-workers. The enraged nurses also daubed the ward boy’s face with black ink and demanded his termination from the job.
The other ward boys also barred the media persons from covering the episode and broke a camera of a private channel.
Meanwhile, nurses staged a protest outside the hospital, demanding sacking the ward boy from service. They threatened to boycott duty if their demand was not met.
