Gang of dacoits involved in attacks on Chinese citizens busted by Islamabad Police: Temuri

ISLAMABAD, March 5 (TNS): A gang of dacoits, who were involved in the killing of Chinese female national and looting other Chinese citizens in the different sector the of Islamabad, was apprehended by the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Islamabad Police.

The Inspector General Police Islamabad, Sultan Azam Temuri, during a press conference in Islamabad said that the ICT police have also recovered looted items and ammunitions from possession of arrested gang.

Temuri said during the investigation the robbers have confessed that they have killed a Chinese female citizen over resistance in Ramna police station’s jurisdiction during a robbery bid and looted several others Chinese at gunpoint in different sectors of Islamabad.

He said the Gang leader Syed Tehseen went to Germany in 2014 but returned to Pakistan over visa issues and set up a gang in Islamabad and targeted Chinese citizens after well-planned plotting.

IGP Islamabad said ICT police deploying SHOs on merit bases in police stations of federal capital. Taimuri said around 1800  security cameras have been installed in the city.
