Islamabad, March 8 (TNS): An organization of Women Democratic Front has been established on eve of International Women’s Day.
This was announced during an event held here on Thursday which was attended by hundreds working-women, students and female political activists from across the country.
Dr. Farzana Bari, on occasion said that it is very encouraging to see progressive women joining struggle for their rights.
At the end of the ceremony, a rally was staged where women chanted “Free-women, Free-society” slogans.
The International Women’s Day was celebrated the country as women took to the streets in the form of rallies and marches to demand for a better future.
