Islamabad March 9 (TNS): A man, who seemed to be drunk, climbed up high voltage electricity cables in Sector F-6 in Islamabad on Friday as rescue and police personnel struggled to get him down through talks.
The unusual but highly dangerous feat of the man stunned the onlookers, who filmed the whole episode while he moved slowly along the cables.
In the video, the man could also be seen standing between the high tension wires while onlookers shout at him, pleading him to come down. The stubborn man seems to have paid no attention to their apprehensions and anxiety.
The rescue teams have reached the spot and negotiations are underway with the man to bring him down safely.
By the time this story was filed, the power supply to the area could not be cut and the man risks being electrocuted.
