Islamabad, March 10 (TNS): Minister of Interior and Planning, Ahsan Iqbal on Saturday said that more scholarships have been awarded to the students in the history of the country.
Addressing at a peress conference, Ahsan Iqbal said scholarships, were awarded on merit, performance and need basis. He said students have been sent to America and China for higher education. The current government has gained economic development and put the country on way of progress, he added.
He said that five years ago the country was plunged into worst power crisis but the current government current had succeeded in overcoming the problem of power crisis by increasing power production.
