Rawalpindi: March 16 (TNS): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar and Khyber Agency on Friday, says a statement issued by ISPR here.
According to statement of media wing of the army, at Corps Headquarters, COAS was given detailed briefing on security situation in FATA / KP and progress on Operation Raad-ul-Fasad, return of TDPs and development works.
In Khyber Agency COAS witnessed progress on fencing along Pak-Afghan border.
COAS interacted with troops and tribal elders. COAS hailed sacrifices for peace and their full support behind efforts of security forces.
