KARACHI, March 18 (TNS): Another driver of online cab service shot dead in Pakistan as toll reached to 3 in recent weeks.
Uber captain, 50, was gunned downed late Saturday night in Bufferzone area of Karachi, officials confirmed here on Sunday.
Two drivers of Careem, another online cab service, were shot dead in Islamabad in recent weeks.
Police said the deceased was identified as, 50 years old and was retired from PIA.
“Shahnawaz was killed in the Taimuria Police jurisdiction in Karachi”, police added.
Police further said that motive of the attack was unknown so far; while the clprits still at large.
Officials suspect the incident as result of personal enmity however further probe was underway.
