MULTAN Mar 21 (TNS): Police on Wednesday registered a case against a man for hurling a shoe at a senior judge in Multan district court.
An under-trial accused hurled a shoe at a civil judge in the courtroom saying he was languishing in jail despite issuance of his bail orders.
Accused Muhammad Ijaz appeared before Civil Judge Zahid Qayyum and raised a hue and cry, saying that the court had granted him bail but he was yet not released due to absence of his release orders.
The judge was hearing the case when all of a sudden, the accused hurled his shoe at the judge. The judge left the courtroom in protest.
