Mamnoon warns India against misadventure

ISLAMABAD March 23: President Mamnoon Hussain has warned India against any misadventure and stop committing grave human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a ceremony marking the Pakistan Day here on Friday, Hussain said that Indian forces have unleashed a reign of terror in the held Kashmir and grave human rights violations were being committed by their forces besides opening fire on the civilian on this part of the border.
He said that India cannot and will not be allowed to play a hegemonic role in the region.

He said that the goodwill gesture from Pakistan should not be misconstrued as its weakness.
The president said that peace was returning to the country as a result of coordinated operations against terror outfits and organizations. He paid tribute to the martyrs and urged the serving officers and officials to execute their duty professionally and honestly.

He welcomed the Sri Lankan president and dignitaries from Turkey, Jordan, the UAE and other countries who witnessed the parade, Hussain said that Pakistan’s relations with its friendly countries will cement further in the future.
