LAHORE March 24 (TNS): In a harrowing incident, police on Friday found three children aged 3 to 7 dead at their house on Bedian Road in Lahore after they were strangled to death under mysterious circumstances.
The police said that they have taken the mother of the slain children into custody on the suspicion killing her children. According to the police, the woman, identified as Anika, who seemed to be mentally deranged, told the police that her friend had killed her children.
The police said that they were investigating the case from different angles and said that the woman may have eliminated the children with the help of her friend. The deceased were shifted to a hospital for a postmortem.
