Late Hameed Gul’s daughter seeks FIR against brother over property dispute

Rawalpindi March 28 (TNS): Uzma Gul, the daughter of former ISI director-general Hameed Gul, has put up an application with the airport police Rawalpindi, seeking an FIR against her brother, Abdullah Gul, accusing him of grabbing the family property by terrorizing and threatening her and their ailing mother.

Uzma Gul has alleged in the application that Abdullah Gul, soon after the death of their father, grabbed and sold the family property by bullying their mother, who is ill and has so far undergone 18 surgeries.

The complainant has also alleged that Abdullah Gul, in the past, also attempted to kill her, however, she escaped. She said that soon after he attempted to kill her, she filed a case (506/106) against him and he is facing a court trial.

Uzma Gul has alleged that on March 26, Abdullah Gul went to their mother and told her about his intentions regarding the property, but their mother flatly refused to meet his demands. According to Uzam, when their mother refused to entertain Abdullah ’s demand, he threatened to kill her and used abusive language against her (Uzma) and has threatened to kill her as well.

Uzama Gul has said that Abdullah Gul has put her and her children and their mother’s life at risk by threatening her of dire consequences. She has sought police protection against their ‘greedy sibling’, besides registering a case against him.
