Jaranwala April 3 (TNS): A postmortem report on Tuesday confirmed that the six-year-old girl was raped, tortured before she was murdered and dumped by her tormentor(s) in Jaranwala.
The six-year-old victim’s body was found dumped in the fields by the police.
Meanwhile, the protest against the gruesome incident continued on Tuesday in Jaranwala as traders boycotted businesses, courts remained shut partially, people and students took to the streets, pressing the police and the local authorities to arrest the culprits who are at large despite the fact that the incident took place some four days back.
According to the postmortem, 21 torture marks were found on the body of the minor girl.
Prior to this incident, a student of Government College University Faisalabad was kidnapped on March 25 and later murdered after she was raped. Three days later, her body was recovered from Diljkot.
The culprits are still at large and the police have failed to make any headway in arresting them.
