Pakistan stands with Kashmiri brethren: PM Abbasi

Muzaffarabad April 4 (TNS):  Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Wednesday that Pakistan stood by its Kashmiri brethren in their testing time and struggle for right to self-determination.

Addressing the joint session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and AJK Council in Muzaffarabad, the premier said that the Indian forces had been unleashing a wave of terror on the innocent Kashmiris for the last seven decades but they have failed to suppress their voice and they continue to pursue the freedom struggle undeterred.

Abbasi said that Kashmir was an internationally recognized dispute and its solution lied in a plebiscite according to the United Nations Security Council resolutions. He said tha Pakistan has demanded from the UN to send a special representative to Kashmir to assess the situation on the ground.

He said Pakistan will observe the Solidarity Day on Friday to express unity with the Kashmiri brethren and sisters. He said that the Kashmiris will one day achieve their freedom.
