IG Islamabad police Temuri appreciates performance of Anti-Car-Lifting Cell

Islamabad, April 4 (TNS): Before visit of IGP Islamabad, the Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) of Islamabad Police covered dozens rusting vehicles with tent to hide wrecked cars.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri visited ACLC here on Wednesday and appreciated performance of the Cell.

On occasion, addressing to news conference, Temuri said that Islamabad police is making all efforts to curb crimes in the federal capital and vowed to ensure protection of lives and property of the citizens.
Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri said that Anti-Car Lifting Cell has recovered 34 vehicles and 13 non-custom paid vehicles.


He added that 21 car thieves of five various gangs have been apprehended by the Anti-Car Lifting Cell.
The IGP on occasion, also handed over keys of recovered vehicles, which were stolen and snatched, to their real owners.
