Peshawar April 6 (TNS): The Peshawar High Court on Friday accepted a plea of Mujahidulah Afridi, the suspect in the murder of medical student Asma Rani, to shift his trial case from an anti-terrorism court in Kohat to Peshawar.
Asma Rani was killed by the accused after he opened fire on her at the main market in Kohat while she was visiting parents to spend vacations. The suspect had killed the medical student after she rejected his marriage proposal.
The next hearing of the murder case will be held in Peshawar.
