Shahbaz Sharif lashes out at Indian govt against atrocities in Kashmir

Lahore, April 6 (TNS): The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has lashed out at Indian government against atrocities in Kashmir and said that Kashmir will get freedom soon.

He said that India must realize that Kashmiri people cannot be deprived of their inalienable right to self-determination through continued brutalities. He said that international conscience is needed to be awakened over the worst form of carnalities committed by the Indian occupied army against unarmed Kashmiris.  He said the government of PML-N is providing sufficient funds for different programs aiming at providing basic necessities of life to the people of Azad Kashmir adding that wonderful steps have been taken for the development and prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

He further said that there is no example of such steps taken for the welfare of the AJK people in the seventy years’ history of the country, he added. He said that the nation of Pakistan stands with every Kashmiri mother, sister, daughter, brother and elder against the Indian barbarism and brutality through which they have tried to keep their illicit hold on the region of Kashmir.

Having pain and concern towards his homeland as a Kashmiri he said, “I  a Pakistani and a Kashmiri can tell you that when Indian pellet-gun bullets bruise our Kashmiri sons and daughters and etch their eyes, every Pakistani bleeds with them.

He said as a leader of a leading Party he wowed the Indian government and the Indian forces on their inhumane and cowardly act of attacking the innocent and unarmed Kashmiris. He also embarked the international community and the international powers to stand up and support the people of Kashmir as they are the ones who have been facing the sufferings of the past 70 years. He said, “I clearly state this to the Indian government that enough is enough, you will have to stop this callousness of fire and blood in Kashmir. The international community should wake up and stand for the rights of Kashmiris, heed to their cries and grant them the right of sovereignty. Marking the limits he clearly said that no nation can be kept in the shackles of slavery forever. Soon the valley of Kashmir will see the sun of freedom rising behind its mountains.
