Islamabad, April 11 (TNS): Islamabad Capital Territory’s Rural Zone police, on direction of IG Islamabad Police Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, apprehended 638 criminals and recovered stolen vehicles, motorbikes and other valuables worth millions rupees this year.
Addressing to press conference, SP rural zone Islamabad, Hasam bin Iqbal said that as many as 638 suspects have been arrested by the police during the last two and half months this year and seized four vehicles, eighteen motorcycles and other stolen valuables worth Rs. 40 million, said that on the special orders of IG and ISSP Islamabad, the Rurl Zone police arrested 638 suspects involved in robbery and trial cases SP Sot
After the press conference, SP Hasam bin Iqbal distributed the testimonial certificates in the best performing police officers.
He also handover keys of vehicles, recovered by the police, to their owners.
However, the citizens say that their stolen vehicles have been handed over back but the main parts of these vehicles and motorcycles are missing.
They also complained about behavior of Police officials who hesitate to register FIRs.
Talking to the TNS World, SP Rural Zone Hasam Bin Iqbal said that lodging complains or registering FIR is basic right of every citizen.
