Rawalpindi, April 13 (TNS): District and Session Judge Islamabad (West) Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain visited Adiala Jail, says a statement issued by the jail officials here on Friday.
According to press release, the honorable judge inspected the various sections of the central prison.
District and Session Judge Islamabad (West) Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain was accompanied by the Civil Judge and Magistrate Aysha Shabir and Shaista Kundi.
The honorable judges examined female barracks, kitchens, factories and PCOs.
They also examined the Training Center for prisoners.
Senior Superintendent Jail, Saeedullah Gondal and other officers briefed the judges on jail affairs.
On occasion, the session judge ordered to release two prisoners convicted for minor crimes on personal surety bonds.
The judges appreciated the jail’s discipline, cleaning arrangements, facilities provided to inmates and security arrangements.
