Youth commits suicide over domestic issue

Islamabad April 18 (TNS): A youth committed suicide at the house of his employer after his father allegedly refused to give him money.

According to police, Alhayan Masih 19, a resident of Zia Masjid Rawalpindi, who was working as a domestic worker at a house in E-11, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan in his room.

According to the initial investigation, the deceased had quarreled with his father Habib Masih after his father refused to give him Rs20,000, which he had apparently sought for the admission of his sister.

Habib Masih, after the brawl, had expelled Alhayan from his house and he was upset over the eviction. He hanged himself to death with the fan in his employer’s house, the police said.

Further investigation is underway, the police said.
