Gujrat April 19 (TNS): In a horrifying incident, acid was thrown on three university students were in the Dang area of Gujrat on Thursday morning.
Police arrested the main suspect immediately.
The three girls, whose identity could not be confirmed immediately, were waiting for university bus at a stop when the three suspects riding a motorcycle showed up an threw acid in the face of the three girls, two of sisters, who were taken to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital for treatment.
One of the attackers was happened to be a relative of the two girls and he was opposing their university education. The third girl, who was their friend, accidentally fell victim to the attack.
According to reports, one of the three suspects was taken arrested by passers-by and handed over to the police. The police are looking for the two fleeing suspects.
