Award, certificate distribution ceremony held at Adiala Jail

Rawalpindi, April 19 (TNS): Central Prison Rawalpindi also known as Adiala Jail is offers equal right of education to inmates and in connection with welfare of prisoners Wifaq Ul Madaris Al Arabia Pakistan distributed certificates those who passed the Islamic course during imprisonment.

A simple but graceful ceremony was held at Adiala Jail where Students who participated in various courses of Holy Quran and religious education were presented awards and certificates.

Jail Superintendent, Saeedullah Gundal, attended a special ceremony as a chief guest while Wifaq Ul Madaris Al Arabia Pakistan’s Qazi Abdul Rashid, Maulana Abdul Ghafar Tohidi, Asjad Usmani and Maulana Hashim Khan were specially invited to the ceremony.

Jail administration’s Qari Faqir Muhammad, Qari Abdul Razaq, Qari Mohammad Tanveer Hussain, Maulana Gulbar Khan and Qari Ghulam Nabi also participated.

Maulana Abdul Ghafar Tohidi, on behalf of his organization, announced new Shawhal classes for inmates.

Qazi Abdul Rashid, praising the interest of inmates in Islamic educational programs, said that under Darood Bank, 1.647 billion Darood-e-Pak has been recited since October 2015.

Jail Superintendent, Saeedullah Gondal, appreciated the services of Wifaq Ul Madaris Al Arabia Pakistan and assured his support.

Later awards and certificates were distributed among a student who completed and passed educational programs and courses.
