London, April 19 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that Pakistan is committed to eliminate preventable blindness, says a press release issued by Pakistan High Commission here on Thursday.
He held discussions with Peek Vision and CBM on the side lines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meetings in London.
Peek Vision is a world leader in using smartphone technology and training healthcare workforces in developing countries to eliminate preventable blindness and poor vision.
The Prime Minister invited Peek Vision to Pakistan and committed the full support for a national program in this regard.
