New York April 20 (TNS): Pakistan has underscored the need to step up efforts to implement the United Nations’ 2030 development agenda that places a high priority on ensuring access to affordable energy for all.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Dr Maleeha Lodhi at a meeting on Sustainable Energy said that effective and comprehensive implementation of the energy goal was important and urgent.
She also stressed the need for universal access to affordable, reliable and modern energy services.
