Peshawar April 20 (TNS): Chief Justice Saqib Nisar said on Friday that its time the judiciary delivered as the people have high hopes of the courts.
Addressing a ceremony in Charsadda, Justice Nisar said that institutions were known by their work and not the buildings and personalities make their façade.
He urged the judges to ensure speedy justice besides acquanting themselves with the law. He regretted thta cases had been pending for the last over 20 years and litigants were going from pillar to post to get justice.
“The profession of a judge is an obligation and not a job,” he said.
