During the hearing, prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi requested the court to get to submit new evidences to the court as NAB’s international cooperation wing has obtained new additional documents related to the Avenfield and Flagship investment cases.

The prosecutor told the court that the NAB has obtained the documents in response to the Panama case Joint Investigation Team’s letter to the United Kingdom’s authorities. The documents are related to the registry record of the London flats, utility bills and council tax which prosecutor claimed that suspects attempted to conceal them.

Maryam Nawaz’s counsel Amjad Pervez took a stance that the witnesses in the case have already been cross-examined with regards to the registry record.
