Bannu April 20 (TNS): the Counter Terrorism Department Bannu has foiled a terror bid as it arrested two suspects including a suicide bomber in Bannu on Friday.
According to CTD, on tip-off, a CTD Bannu team conducted a raid on a house in where some suspected terrorist were planning for its new target and arrested two wanted terrorists including a suicide bomber while the while the two suspects managed to escape. The CTD has also seized suicide jacket and 4 grenades from their possession.
The arrested suspects were identified as Siddique Ullah Nemat ullah while the Amjad Nawaz and Bakhtawar managed to flee the scene.
According to police, the suspects were belong to banned terrorist organization TehreekTalibann Pakistan.
The cases under anti-terrorism act have been registered against them while they were shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation.
