RAWALPINDI April 25 (TNS): Renowned Pashto singer Nazia Iqbal on Wednesday has registered a case against her brother of allegedly raping her two minor daughters with Rawat Police Station, Rawalpindi.
Nazia Iqbal filed a complaint with Rawat Police Station, Rawalpindi stating that her brother Iftikhar 19 was repeatedly raped daughters the singer, 12 and 8, while she and her husband were away for concerts. Nazia was used to ask Iftikhar to stay at her home in Rawalpindi’s Bahria Town to take care of her daughters while she was away.
While he used to rape them and scare them into silence, the complaint said.
The singer caught her brother red-handed raping one of her daughters in her room on Tuesday and then registered the case, the complaint added.
According to Rawat police, they have arrested the accused Iftikhar 19 further investigations are underway.
Police have decided to conduct a DNA test of the accused while the medical reports have been sent to the Punjab Forensic Lab in Lahore.
