Gilgit April 25 (TNS): Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court dismissed the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s order to stop the 3G/ 4G internet services launched by Special Communication organization on trial basis.
Hearing a writ petition, the Divisional bench of Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court has also directed the SCO to continue 3G/ 4G internet service till the decision of the petition.
The SCO has launched 3G and 4G service across Gilgit Baltistan after large-scale protests Across GB over the alleged reluctance of the organization.
The internet service provided by the company always remains in the debate on social media among the people of GB as it only provides 60 Milli bytes internet per day while it has not introduced any service package for the relief of masses. People claim that company’s offer of 60 mbs is insufficient.
People also claim that SCO is allegedly not allowing other companies to provide fast internet.
